Sorry, I'm just a passerby and don't know the details of your situation, but since you live in Canada you might be able to rent a tablet from a shop as an interim solution. Or maybe borrow an older model that has just been collecting dust in the drawer of a family member, a friend or a co-worker.
Alternatively... I've just seen your output for this year. You _deserve_ a break. ;)
